Wes Bearden is not your stereotypical investigator.

Because most of his clients are lawyers and law firms, he went to law school so that he could better understand what his clients need. He then became an active attorney licensed in Texas, Louisiana, New York, and the District of Columbia. He understands what is discoverable and what is admissible in court. He knows how to handle witnesses appropriately and ethically, and he can direct more easily investigations that cross into other jurisdictions. In 2025, the firm opened its first presence overseas in the United Kingdom under our affiliate firm Bearden Intelligence UK, Ltd.

Bearden Intelligence, Inc. works closely with both Bearden Law Firm, PLLC and other firms, pairing licensed investigative and 

intelligence resources with trial-ready legal experience to support litigation from initial fact-gathering through judgment and collection.

His agency, established in Dallas in 1972, has conducted investigations in all 50 states and more than 40 foreign countries. Bearden Intelligence, Inc. represents their clients in Europe through Bearden Intelligence UK, Ltd. a United Kingdom limited company trading in London.

He maintains active membership and leadership in several private investigative associations throughout the United States. He also previously served for nearly a decade as the general counsel of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators, Inc. Mr. Bearden is a Past President of the National Council of Investigation and Security Services, Inc. and a Past President of the World 

Association of Detectives, Inc. In addition, he is member of several bar and legal associations throughout the country.
